This Thursday, the third extension of the general state budgets has begun to be implemented, in accordance with the agreement reached during the last Council of Ministers meeting of last year, which took place on 23 December. The Government intends to present a budget proposal for this year. During that Council of Ministers meeting, a consensus was achieved on the technical criteria that will be used to extend the general state budgets of 2023 into 2026, which have been in effect throughout 2025.
