This Tuesday, search teams in Indonesia concluded the fifth day of their operation to find three Spanish nationals who have been missing since Friday in the east of the country due to the sinking of a tourist boat. This follows the recovery of the body of another Spanish woman. «The search has still not yielded results,» commented Fathur Rahman, the official from the National Agency for Search and Rescue (BASARNAS) in charge of the mission, at the end of the activities. The operation, which today involved around 150 people and more than a dozen vessels, will resume on Wednesday. «We are putting in effort, but we have not been successful in locating the missing individuals, which include an adult and two children. One of the factors is the weather,» stated Eko Lagay, one of the rescuers, noting that they faced waves and rain in the search area today.
The search for the three missing Spaniards in Indonesia concludes without success.
