The three individuals who lost their lives in the landslide that occurred this Monday on the western slope of Tablato Peak, in the area of the Panticosa Resort, along with three other individuals who were affected by the avalanche, were part of a mountaineering group from the Basque Country. A group skiing on the mountain was hit by an avalanche, resulting in the deaths of two men and one woman. Additionally, another woman sustained injuries, along with two other individuals, according to sources from the Civil Guard. In an interview with the media, Miguel Ángel Clavero, the General Director of the Interior of the Government of Aragon, mentioned that the group was from the Basque Country. He also clarified that the landslide occurred at an altitude of between 2,600 and 2,700 metres, following the rupture of a slab that swept the group members down the slope. However, only the woman who was rescued was injured and became partially buried.
