The mountain rescue teams of the Guardia Civil have recovered the bodies of three individuals who lost their lives due to an avalanche on the west face of Pico Tablato, in the Balneario de Panticosa area, Huesca. There is a fourth person injured, a woman showing symptoms of mild hypothermia. The incident was reported around 1:00 PM, leading to the activation of the GREIM teams from Jaca and Panticosa, as well as the air unit from Huesca. The Minister of Finance and Interior, Roberto Bermúdez de Castro, and the Director General of Interior, Miguel Ángel Clavero, have moved to Panticosa to monitor the situation. The President of the Government of Aragon, Jorge Azcón, has announced on the social network X his decision to suspend his agenda for today, expressing that he feels shocked by the news of the mountain accident. The location where the incident occurred is popular among mountain skiing enthusiasts, as it has an elevation difference of 1,000 metres. The State Meteorological Agency has established a level two out of five avalanche risk in this area.
