The rainstorm that has caused precipitation in southern Andalusia and the Mediterranean region is retreating from the peninsula, leaving a toll of three fatalities, including the discovery of a man’s body who had been missing. The rainfall has caused damage due to river overflows, disruption of communications, and displacement of communities. Although the storm is coming to an end, rain is expected in some areas of the Mediterranean and the Balearic Islands. In Cártama, search teams have found the body of the missing man in Alhaurín el Grande. The search involved the participation of 150 people, including members of the Civil Guard, firefighters, Local Police, Civil Protection, and volunteers. The missing man was swept away by the flooding of the Fahala River.
