The ninth day of the search for three Spaniards missing in Indonesia following a shipwreck begins.

Labuan Bajo (Indonesia) (EFE).- This Saturday, rescue teams in Indonesia continued operations to locate the three Spaniards who went missing after a boat sank on December 26 in the Komodo National Park, where another Spanish national lost their life and two managed to survive. The task involves using four sonar devices to locate the wreckage of the tourist vessel on the seabed near Padar Island, which was the last known location of the ship before it sank. A group of seven divers set off on the BASARNAS KN Puntadewa vessel, which is tracking from the surface a part of the designated area and acts as a support ship for the mission, departing from the port of Labuan Bajo, where part of the operation is coordinated. A member of the operational team informed EFE that the strategy consists of searching in a coastal area where debris, such as ropes, life jackets, and pillows, belonging to the ill-fated vessel was found.
