Spaniards have experienced a 2025 in which food costs have remained high, although with smaller increases compared to previous years. There are regions where the cost of groceries has risen more than in others, with Ceuta, Asturias and Castilla and León leading this trend. The latest estimate from the National Institute of Statistics (INE) until November of this year indicates that the average increase in the price of food and non-alcoholic beverages at a national level is 2.8%. The change in prices differs by region, with more significant increases in certain areas of the country.
