Alert in eleven communities, over 50 roads affected by snow and 12 closed due to rain.

Madrid. This Monday, Cantabria is on orange alert for snowfall, which is expected to accumulate around 5 centimetres within 24 hours at altitudes of 700-800 metres. Another ten regions are under yellow warning for snow. A total of 52 roads are affected by the snowstorm that is impacting much of the peninsula, five of which belong to the main network. An additional 12 routes in Andalusia are closed to traffic due to rainfall. The State Meteorological Agency has warned of cold weather for this Monday, the day before Epiphany, which has begun with snowfall in the centre and north of the country. In many areas, when the parades take place in the mid-afternoon, temperatures will be below zero.
