The labour market in Spain adds 506,451 affiliates in 2025 with the lowest unemployment figure in 18 years.

Madrid. In 2025, the labour market recorded an increase of 506,451 contributors, reaching over 21.8 million employees by the end of the year. At the same time, the number of unemployed decreased by 152,048, standing at 2.4 million. According to information provided by the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security, and Migration, December saw an increase of 19,180 average contributors in employment, raising the total to 21,844,414 workers.
