Trump threatens Petro with the possibility of a US mission in Colombia as well.

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, warned his Colombian counterpart, Gustavo Petro, about the possibility of sending a U.S. mission to his country, similar to the one that raided locations in Venezuela and detained President Nicolás Maduro. Trump mentioned that Colombia is facing problems and is led by an individual who produces cocaine and sells it in the U.S. When asked if this suggests another U.S. mission in Colombia, the Republican responded that it seems like a good idea to him. A U.S. military action captured Maduro and the First Lady, Cilia Flores, who are now in a detention centre in New York. During a press conference in Florida, Trump issued warnings to Petro, whom he has pointed out for his involvement in drug trafficking in the region, and advised him that he must protect himself.
