Delcy Rodríguez leads her first cabinet meeting as acting president of Venezuela.

Caracas (EFE).- This Sunday, Delcy Rodríguez, the Executive Vice President of Venezuela, led a council of ministers as interim president, where she established a commission to facilitate the release of Nicolás Maduro, who was detained in Venezuelan territory during a military operation by the United States. Rodríguez extended an invitation to that country to discuss a cooperation agenda. Rodríguez, appointed by the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) to assume the role of interim president, also addressed the issue of security in the country, as expressed by the Minister of Communication and Information, Freddy Ñáñez, in a statement broadcast by the state channel Venezolana de Televisión (VTV) at the end of the ministers’ meeting.
