The Government of Spain has requested Delcy Rodríguez, the acting president of Venezuela, to release the Spanish political prisoners in that country, according to the newspaper ‘El Español’ and confirmed by sources from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The request was made through a «verbal note» addressed to the Government of Venezuela, aimed at reiterating that Spain will not give up in its efforts to secure the release of the prisoners.
