Madrid (EFE) Practically all of Spain, with the exception of Extremadura, Murcia, and Ceuta, is on alert for low temperatures, snowfall, strong winds, or maritime phenomena, due to storm Francis and several fronts, with six regions under orange warning for risk. The alert was at red level until 9 am in Guadalajara, where temperatures of up to -15 ºC were recorded. According to information from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), some areas of Aragón, Cantabria, the Balearic Islands, Catalonia, Castilla y León, Castilla-La Mancha, and the Basque Country are under orange alert for snowfall, minimum temperatures, and winds.
