Spain advocates for the UN to be involved in a future peace mission in Ukraine.

This Tuesday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares, expressed his support for the UN to participate in a peace mission in Ukraine, once Russia declares a «ceasefire.» This was stated in an interview on RNE, following the meeting of the Volunteer Coalition this Monday in Paris, where security guarantees for Ukraine were established with the backing of the United States, which includes the deployment of troops on the ground.
