Moscow (EFE).- Last night, Russia launched a hypersonic missile called ‘Oréshnik’ against the city of Lviv, in western Ukraine. The city’s mayor, Andriy Sadovyi, reported that the missile reached a speed of 13,000 kilometres per hour. This is the first time such an attack has been carried out in Lviv since the start of the war. The city is located less than 70 kilometres from the EU border. The mayor expressed in a message on Telegram that this serves as a warning to our international allies: Russia’s war does not respect borders. According to him, the adversary’s Ministry of Defence claims that this ‘Oréshnik’ is a ‘revenge’ for an attack on President Vladimir Putin’s residence. «There is nothing new from the nation of killers and liars,» he concluded.
