Blockades by French farmers on motorways, including those connecting to Spain, due to the Mercosur agreement.

Several groups of farmers closed motorways in France as a form of protest against the agreement between the European Union and Mercosur, particularly near the border with Belgium, on the outskirts of Paris, and on the routes towards the border with Spain. In the south-west, a group of protesters set up at the junction between the A63 and the A64, which connects Bordeaux with the Spanish border through the Basque Country. The A63 was blocked between the exits for Bayonne North and Bayonne South, causing congestion. In Perpignan, a similar situation was reported on the A9 motorway heading towards Spain.
