Fourteen communities on alert for snowfall, waves, strong winds, and heavy rain.

Madrid (EFE).- This Friday, fourteen autonomous communities are under weather alert due to snow, a maritime storm, winds or rain. Half of them are at orange level for snowfall or sea conditions, which will cause waves of up to 8 metres on the Cantabrian coast. The communities on orange alert are Aragón, Catalonia and Navarra for snowfall; and Asturias, Cantabria, Galicia and the Basque Country for rough seas. Rain and winds are expected in various areas of the country, according to forecasts from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).
