On Friday, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte discussed security in the Arctic and its importance for the Alliance, in response to Washington’s comments regarding the potential takeover of Greenland. During a phone conversation, Rubio and Rutte talked about Arctic security for NATO members, according to Deputy State Department Spokesman Tommy Pigott.
