The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, commented that on Friday he met with the President of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, to express the need to continue the release of political prisoners and highlighted the work of former president José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero. During a press conference at Moncloa, alongside the Prime Minister of Greece, Sánchez mentioned that he also had a conversation with the opposition leader, Edmundo González, who is in exile in Spain. Furthermore, he underlined the discussion that the Minister of Foreign Affairs, José Manuel Albares, had with the US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio.
