The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, and the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, are expected to meet next Monday to discuss issues of foreign policy and defence, including the possible deployment of Spanish troops to Ukraine, according to sources from the PP. Government sources have stated that Sánchez will be pleased to welcome the opposition leader this Monday and to inform him about the geopolitical changes that are occurring globally. He will also communicate the security and diplomacy strategy that the Government is implementing to address geopolitical tensions, a process that the Executive has been carrying out before Congress and the media.
