Moscow.- Today, Russia dismissed warnings about a possible military attack by the United States on Iran, as well as the likelihood of increased tariffs on the allies of the Islamic Republic. Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that «the warnings of possible new military attacks against the territory of the Islamic Republic issued by Washington are unacceptable.» The diplomat pointed out the «repercussions» that could have for the Middle East and global security if any power were to use the «disorders provoked from the outside» as a pretext for carrying out an attack similar to that conducted in June 2025 by Israel and the United States. «We reject attempts to extort Iran’s international partners through tax increases.»
