United Left advocates for re-establishing the electoral coalition but with a name different from Sumar.

Antonio Maíllo, the federal coordinator of Izquierda Unida, is seeking to form a coalition of left-wing parties for the general elections scheduled for 2027. Maíllo will present his political report at the beginning of the virtual meeting of the Federal Coordinator of IU, which is its main body between assemblies, according to the draft seen by EFE.
