Seoul, 16 January. This Friday, former South Korean president Yoon Suk-yeol received a five-year prison sentence for obstruction of justice. This is the first ruling in the trials he faces due to his attempt to declare martial law in December 2024, among which is a case for insurrection that could lead to the death penalty.
