In the last five years, the Ministry of the Interior has recorded more than 44,600 crimes for attacks on authority, with the majority being assaults on members of the security forces, although the figure has remained constant. According to the information provided, the number of crimes has increased from 15,397 in 2021 to 16,878 in 2024, representing a rise of 9.6 percent. Without accounting for the last quarter of 2025, the previous year could show a figure comparable to that of previous years, given that between January and September, 12,645 crimes of assault against authority, agents, or public officials were recorded.
