Vox has informed the PP via email about the conclusion of negotiations in Extremadura, twenty-four hours before the formation of the regional Parliament, according to PP sources. In the email, Vox «does not explain the reasons for the separation,» the same sources have indicated, expressing surprise at this decision. However, sources from the national leadership of the party headed by Santiago Abascal mention a «suspension» of the negotiations begun with the PP for a new investiture of María Guardiola, and not a break, as they consider that would imply a final end. The PP believes that this decision is part of a national strategy by Vox, in view of the elections that will be held in other autonomous communities, aiming to assert that they are not in agreements with the scam or the mafia, referring to the terms that this party used during the campaign in Extremadura to describe the Popular Party and Socialists.
