Koldo’s ex-wife says that the reimbursement of expenses in the PSOE was always in cash.

Patricia Úriz, the ex-wife of former ministerial advisor Koldo García, has stated that the money she collected at the PSOE headquarters in Ferraz as reimbursement for expenses incurred by her then-husband and ex-minister José Luis Ábalos was always in cash, while the funds from the Ministry of Transport were received via bank transfer. Úriz testified on Tuesday as a suspect in a money laundering offence before Judge Ismael Moreno, who is overseeing the investigation into the corruption network of the Koldo case in the National Court, as well as the cash payments made by the PSOE. Lawyer Leticia de la Hoz, who also represents her ex-husband, was by her side. She was the only one who chose to answer during her testimony, in which she did not remove her wig, according to legal sources cited by EFE.
