The French Minister of Agriculture, Annie Genevard, criticised the use of «blackmail» by the President of the United States, Donald Trump, who has warned France about the possibility of imposing 200% tariffs on its wines and champagnes if it does not agree to join the Peace Council for Gaza. Genevard stated in an interview with the TF1 channel that this is a statement towards France and a threat aimed at subjugating Europeans.
