Madrid. This Thursday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, José Manuel Albares, expressed his hope that the agreement related to Greenland would allow NATO to take on the responsibility of strengthening security in the Arctic and that the United States would not demand sovereignty over the island. In an interview on TVE, Albares stated that he does not have information on the details of the preliminary agreement that the President of the United States, Donald Trump, announced this Wednesday alongside the NATO Secretary General, Mark Rutte, regarding Greenland.
