The Generalitat has decided to initiate an administrative procedure against Renfe for the lack of the Rodalies service this morning and will demand accountability. The commissioner of the Generalitat responsible for the transfer of Rodalies, Pere Macias, informed reporters about this decision after verifying that the Rodalies and Regional services in Catalonia remain suspended for the second consecutive day, despite the Govern stating that they would be restored. The train drivers’ union Semaf believes that there are not enough safety guarantees for the operation of the trains. «We have initiated a file against Renfe, as they are not fulfilling the service that they should provide to the citizens,» he commented.
