Greenland’s president is open to greater military presence on the island.

Copenhagen, (EFE).- This Thursday, the President of Greenland, Jens-Frederik Nielsen, expressed his willingness to increase military presence in this Danish territory within the context of NATO. «We seek to strengthen security in the Arctic through initiatives that include a NATO mission in Greenland, as well as an increase in military presence and more exercises,» commented Nielsen during a press conference in Nuuk.
