The storm affects 153 roads, the majority in the secondary network, of which 16 are closed.

The snow and ice storm is affecting 153 roads this morning; 16 are closed, 74 require the use of chains or winter tyres, and trucks and buses are not allowed to circulate, according to the General Directorate of Traffic. On the main road, 18 routes are affected; none are closed, but two have chains and restrictions for heavy vehicles in various sections of Huesca: the A-21 between Puente la Reina de Jaca and Albay, and the A-23 between kilometres 372 and 394 heading towards France, as well as between Pardinilla and Guasa. On the high-capacity network, there are three roads where speed is limited and the circulation of heavy vehicles is prohibited: the A-6 at the Manzanal Pass and in the section between Zamora and León; the A-52 between Zamora and Ourense and in the province of Ourense; and the AG-53 in Pontevedra. On the secondary network, there are 16 roads blocked by snow or ice in various locations in Granada, Teruel, Asturias, Albacete, Soria, Cáceres, and Navarra. There are 74 roads on red alert and 21 on yellow alert, so the DGT advises exercising caution and checking the traffic status before undertaking any journey.
