The Minister of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration, Elma Saiz, hopes that at the beginning of April, requests for the regularisation of foreigners already residing in Spain can begin. The minister has stated in an interview with TVE that starting in April, once the application is submitted, there will be a maximum period of 15 days for its acceptance. From that moment on, applicants will be able to work in any sector and anywhere in the country. Furthermore, she has indicated that this will grant rights to minors accompanying the holders, allowing them to regularise their situation.
The Government expects to start the extraordinary regularisation process for migrants in April.
