Tehran, 28 January (EFE) – The Government of Iran has stated that it sees an armed conflict as more likely than an agreement with the United States, following days of tension between the two nations due to President Donald Trump’s decision to deploy a fleet in the region. «The defence of the country is the most important thing,» affirmed Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Kazem Ghariabadi, during a meeting with international press in Tehran. The diplomat emphasised that Iran is ready for war and to provide a response to any act of aggression.
