Óscar Puente appears in the Senate regarding the accident in Adamuz and the PP greets him with shouts of «resignation».

This Thursday, the Minister of Transport, Óscar Puente, will appear before the Senate at the request of the PP to report on the train accidents in Adamuz and Gelida, as well as the problems with the Rodalies service in Catalonia. The appearance before the media occurs eleven days after the accident in Adamuz, which resulted in the death of 45 people and has put the high-speed service between the south and the centre of the peninsula on hold. Additionally, it comes nine days after the incident in Gelida, where a train driver lost their life and the Rodalies service was interrupted. Senators from the PP greeted the minister with shouts of «Resignation! Resignation!» upon his arrival at the chamber, after which a minute of silence was observed in honour of the deceased.
