Sánchez promises the victims of Adamuz that they will not be left alone and that they will have answers.

The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, has assured the victims of the accidents that occurred in Adamuz and Gelida, as well as their families, that the institutions will stand by them and that the State will not turn a blind eye, committing to continue seeking answers to their concerns. Sánchez began his speech at the forum ‘Women Leading the UN in the 21st Century’ with these words, one day after the funeral in Huelva in memory of the victims of the railway accident in Adamuz, and amidst criticism from the PP for his absence at the event and for not appearing in the Senate. After expressing the support of society and the Government to the victims and their families, he admitted that when the suffering is deep, commitment and concrete actions are required. The State will not ignore the situation; it will continue to strive, addressing the concerns, until reaching a conclusion, making the necessary improvements and providing support to those who have suffered the loss of a loved one. The goal is that, in addition to the suffering, they should not have to face financial worries or a sense of helplessness. The institutions will not abandon the victims or their families; we will not forget them, and we will be by their side for as long as necessary.
