The storm is easing but a new mass of very humid air is expected on Sunday.

This Saturday, the bad weather has provided a pause in the peninsula, with rain in Galicia, Cantabria, and the Pyrenees. It is anticipated that a new mass of air will arrive this Sunday, causing precipitation in a large part of the national territory. The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has announced that today the skies will be clearer and temperatures will drop, with wind across much of the territory. A maritime storm is also expected along the coasts and frost in mountainous areas. The arrival of a new mass of air in the country is expected to bring rain to much of the peninsula, with less likelihood in the Mediterranean area and more intense in the west. In Galicia, in the northern part of Cáceres and in the south of Ávila and Salamanca, rain is forecast, and the altitude of the snow will rise to over 2,000 metres in the mountains, remaining around 1,800 metres in the Pyrenees. In the Canary Islands, it is anticipated that there will be more clouds in the lower areas of the northern islands with higher altitudes, while in other regions the skies will be clearer.
