Iran has warned that its Armed Forces are ready to act and are monitoring the movements of the «enemy,» referring to the United States, which has sent a fleet to the Middle East in preparation for a possible military intervention against Tehran. “The Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran are in a state of both defensive and military readiness. We are monitoring the movements of the enemy in the region and are ready to act,” stated the chief commander of the Iranian Army, General Amir Hatami, according to reports from the Mehr agency. Hatami asserted that «if the adversary makes a mistake, it will endanger its own security, as well as that of the region and the Zionist regime.»
