The businessman Elon Musk asked Jeffrey Epstein, the financier involved in sexual crimes, about the party on his island, according to an email released by the United States Department of Justice. In a previous message, Epstein inquired about how many people would be needed to prepare the helicopter to the island, to which Musk replied that it would only be «Talulah and me,» referring to Talulah Riley, a British actress and writer who was married to the businessman. The correspondence between Musk and Epstein in 2012 reveals their connection, although it remains uncertain whether the Tesla owner visited the island of the accused sex trafficker. Musk has claimed that Epstein «tried to contact him,» but that he was never on the island and that any insinuation to the contrary is «completely false.»
