Paris.- This Tuesday, the Prosecutor’s Office of the Paris Court of Appeal requested that Marine Le Pen be sentenced to a five-year disqualification for the misuse of European funds. Additionally, they requested a four-year prison sentence, of which only one year would be effectively served with an electronic bracelet, and a fine of 100,000 euros. After hearing a request that was less severe than her initial sentence, Marine Le Pen left the court without making any comments.
The Prosecutor’s Office requests to maintain a 5-year ban against Le Pen without immediate enforcement.
