The Andalusian Prosecutor’s Office sees no indications of a crime against those with parliamentary immunity in the cancer screenings.

The Andalusian Prosecutor’s Office has decided to archive the complaints related to breast cancer screening, as no indications of wrongdoing were found concerning the individuals with immunity. Furthermore, it has sent the proceedings to various provincial prosecutors to continue the investigation in an individual and separate manner, given that the complaints do not present the same circumstances. The Superior Prosecutor’s Office of Andalusia has issued a decree of archiving regarding the three complaints for the failure to provide healthcare in the breast cancer detection programmes, lodged against five individuals who held high positions in the Health Ministry. This archiving comes after the conclusion of the pre-process proceedings, which determined that there is no evidence of a crime against two individuals with immunity, the current president of the Andalusian Parliament, Jesús Aguirre, and the Minister for Sustainability, Catalina García, who were responsible for the Health area in the Junta.
