Isabel Perelló, president of the General Council of the Judiciary, has stated that the establishment of 500 new judicial positions does not solve the problem of the shortage of judges and has called for protection for the group against external pressures and methods of influence. Perelló highlighted this in Barcelona during the ceremony for the delivery of offices to the members of the 74th promotion of judges, an event that was presided over by King Felipe VI and attended by the Minister of the Presidency and Justice, Félix Bolaños.
