The president of Adif defends that the railway network «is not collapsed» and «is safe.»

Pedro Marco de la Peña, president of Adif, stated that the railway network in Spain «is not overwhelmed.» He emphasised that «it is safe» and that all employees of the company are committed «to that objective.» De la Peña responded in the Senate committee investigating the blackout that occurred on 28th April, where he refused to answer questions from senators of the PP and Vox regarding the railway incidents in Adamuz and Gelida.
