The storm Leonardo leaves thousands evacuated, roads closed and one injured in Andalusia.

Storm Leonardo has caused the evacuation of over 3,500 people in Andalusia, the closure of 52 roads, and one injury due to the collapse of a house in Ubrique. Nearly 3,800 residents in Andalusia have been left without electricity. The Civil Guard has had to rescue seventy people, including a nurse trapped in a ford of the Cubillas River in Granada. A red alert has been declared in Grazalema, where more than 400 people have been evacuated. Rainfall of 390 litres per square metre has been recorded from midnight to 16:30. In Ronda, over 200 litres per square metre could be reached within a 24-hour period. The fall of a rock from a hillside has caused the complete collapse of a house in Ubrique, where firefighters rescued a person who sustained injuries. The injured individual was taken to hospital. The autonomous city of Ceuta has been isolated by sea and air due to winds exceeding 90 kilometres per hour, leading to the cancellation of transport services. An orange weather alert remains in place due to the severe weather, which has resulted in over 60 emergency interventions.
