All opposition groups in Móstoles have called for the resignation of the mayor, Manuel Bautista, after a former councillor from the same party accused him of sexual and workplace harassment during his time in the Town Hall. According to the PSOE and Más Madrid, the Popular Party would have attempted to cover up this matter. The former councillor filed an internal complaint in which she accused Bautista of harassing her since the beginning of the 2023 electoral campaign, through comments, allusions to her appearance and suggestions, and even went so far as to spread the rumour that they had had a relationship. According to her account, she faced this situation and, once she took up the position of councillor, the harassment at work began, which she describes.
