Authorities have decided to evacuate the locality of Grazalema due to the dangers generated by the rains, as reported by the mayor, Carlos García, and the president of the Junta of Andalucía, Juanma Moreno. These evacuations add to those reported in other areas of Andalucía and Extremadura, while the Civil Guard continues the search for a woman who fell into a river in Sayalonga on Wednesday afternoon, during the storm caused by the weather system Leonardo. The search team is operating along 5 kilometres of the Turvilla River, between this village and Algarrobo. A helicopter has rejoined the search efforts along the riverbank, with mountain personnel from the Civil Guard on standby in case it is necessary to descend in inaccessible areas. The weather conditions have forced the air teams to withdraw. A woman of approximately 40 years old fell into the river while trying to save her dog, which had fallen into the water during a walk in the northern part of the village with another woman, who raised the alarm about the situation.
Storm Leonardo: Evacuation ordered in Grazalema as search continues for missing woman in Málaga.
