Housing in Spain became 9.5% more expensive in 2025 and set a new record.

During the last year, the price of homes in Spain increased by 9.5%, and in the last quarter, it rose by 2.2%. At the end of the year, the price reached a record of €2,354 per square metre, according to information released by the College of Property Registrars. The regions with the highest prices per square metre were Madrid, at €4,241; the Balearic Islands, at €4,101; the Basque Country, at €3,489; and Catalonia, at €2,779.
