Russia and Ukraine have reached an agreement facilitated by the United States for an exchange of 314 prisoners, according to Steve Witkoff, the White House representative for the conflict in Ukraine, from Abu Dhabi, where peace negotiations are taking place between Kyiv, Washington, and Moscow. Witkoff mentioned that this is the first prisoner exchange in five months between Moscow and Kyiv. They have carried out several swaps of soldiers and civilians following direct talks in Istanbul last year.
