Madrid (EFE).- This Friday, the Minister of Transport, Óscar Puente, is in meetings with the railway unions CCOO, UGT, and Semaf, which represents the train drivers, in order to avoid the strike scheduled from Monday 9 to Wednesday 11. The meeting scheduled for 9:30 this Friday aims to prevent a strike called for all staff in the sector, including the areas of operations, maintenance, circulation, onboard assistance, and other activities that support the public service.
Puente meets with railway unions for the third consecutive day to avoid the strike.
