Madrid. This Tuesday, the Council of Ministers approved a deduction of up to 591 euros for those receiving the minimum wage (SMI) for 2026, which has also been approved today. The Minister of Finance, María Jesús Montero, detailed in the press conference that the new deduction will apply to salaries below 20,000 euros.
The Government approves a deduction so that recipients of the minimum wage do not pay taxes.
