The railway sector unions (CCOO, UGT, and Semaf) have decided to continue with the strike scheduled for next week, from 9 to 11 February, after concluding the meeting with the Minister of Transport, Óscar Puente, without reaching an agreement, as reported by union representatives at the end of the meeting. Representatives from the three unions agreed that the actions they are demanding have not been defined, both in terms of budget and safety, an area in which they are collaborating with the Railway Safety Agency.
The unions maintain the train strike for next week following the third meeting.
